    Registration forms and payment is due 1 week before the first class. Late registration will be charged a $5.00 fee. Registration must be completed before beginning the class. Instructors may not take registrations. You must register for the entire session of fitness classes NOT individual classes.



     Amesbury Adult Education program is a self-supporting program. It is under the auspices of the Amesbury Public School System. All fees go to run the AAEP.

     We do not send confirmations.  We only contact you if your class is NOT going to run.

    We don't cash checks immediately. We hold them until we are certain a class will run.

    NO REFUNDS are given after two-weeks of the start date of a class which is when we deposit checks, unless the class is cancelled.

     Please sign in at each the beginning of each class session. Late registration will be charged a $5.00 fee. Registration must be completed before beginning the class. Instructors may not take registrations. You must register for the entire session of fitness classes NOT individual classes.

     Class Cancellations:  If school is cancelled, adult ed classes will be cancelled as well. Should bad weather begin in the afternoon I will send an email to class members about cancelations or call the instructor. Missed classes due to bad weather will be rescheduled or a voucher will be given for that session.

     Refund Policy:  No refunds are given after a course begins except for medial reasons. In case of cancellation of a class, full refund will be issued.

     Disabled Persons:  Amesbury High School (AHS) is wheel chair accessible and has facilities to accommodate disabled persons. If a class is held off site please inquire about accessibility.

     Liability:  Amesbury Public School system is not responsible for any loss or damage of personal equipment or any personal injury incurred while following an instructor’s directions. We are not responsible for personal property left in our buildings or at off-site locations. Students take courses at their own risk.

     Parking:  Parking is permitted in the parking lots at AHS or site of class on space available basis.



    Adult ESL classes will begin Tuesday, March 3. Classes will meet Tuesday and Thursday nights from 6PM to 8PM from March 3rd to April 2nd at Amesbury High School in room 112.  Please register on the Amesbury High School website.   There is a $10 materials fee paid to the instructor.  Register with Amesbury Adult Education on the Amesbury High School web site.  Class registration fee is an additional $10.00 for 5 weeks. NEW STUDENTS will take a placement test  Feb 25 at 6pm
    CAKE DECORATING for beginners  WEDNESDAY   March 18 @6pm  $10.00 includes ingredients.  Room 135

         10% discount if you take 2 or more fitness classes

    NEW: 10 session punch card! Come to any combination of fitness classes for $80.00. cards will expire at the end of June 2020 minimum of 4 registered students needed to run the class

    ZUMBA   Jessica Regis  

     Latin-inspired, dance-based fitness class. Rhythms include Salsa, Cumbia, Merengue, Reggae ton, and more. Come join the party - have a blast while you sweat!  You will need sneakers and water!  Monday    5:15-6:15pm         dance studio/ GYM when available 


    Session III February 24 – June 8           $79.00   NO CLASS    4/20, 5/25  make up classes will be added the week of June 15

    ZUMBA  Toning    Jess Regis The challenge of adding resistance by using Zumba® Toning Sticks (or light weights), helps you focus on specific muscle groups, so you (and your muscles) stay engaged! The lightweight, maraca-like Toning Sticks enhance sense of rhythm and coordination, while toning target zones, including arms, core and lower body. In addition to sneakers and water, please bring either Zumba Toning Sticks (can be purchased online at or light weights (no more than 2lbs) to class.  Wednesday 5:15-6:15pm  Dance Studio / GYM when available

    Restorative Yoga slows down your body and opens it with passive stretches. Deep muscle relaxation Bring water and a blanket


    YOGA Classes for new and experienced students. Focus is on breath, balance, strength and flexibility, and alignment.

    Classes for students experienced or newer to Yoga who want a nurturing, slow-paced, relaxing practice

    Nicole Cronin    Dance Studio          limit of 12 people .

    Barre is a combination of Pilates, yoga, aerobics and strength training. Each class is whole body oriented and focuses on lengthening and strengthening your muscles to sculpt your body without the impact.  Barre embraces all fitness levels and ages.  You will leave each class feeling successful and fulfilled.  You will need to bring a yoga mat, water bottle, bring 3-5 pound weights, and barresocks if you have them otherwise we will be barefoot everything else will be provided.   Thursday 6-7 pm       Dance Studio
